Remember when we said there would be more challenge this year? Well, maybe it wasn’t all puns….

That’s because we’re happy to announce that Hatchet Force Team Challenge IV WILL BE A TWO DAY TRIAL!

And while we can’t spoil all the details, we also wanted to report another one the this year’s “new additions“ to the Hatchet Force Team Challenge: “THE BEST OPFOR CONTEST”! Details below:

We can pretty much guarantee that OPFOR will see plenty of action at HFTCIV, and as a such wanted to begin providing the best OPFOR team the ability to earn their very own award.

Each OPFOR element will be graded/scored by the teams competing in the challenge (in addition to other “outside” observers). OPFOR may be graded on such things as but not limited to:

GENERAL INFORMATION REGARDING HFTCIV:

What you will get:

You MUST provide your own weapons

NO AP (armor piercing) rounds; You will be charged for any and all targets fired upon

WATER WILL BE PROVIDED AT EACH OBJECTIVE

(Be Advised: Last year’s winning team comes for free, but cannot compete within a team entry two consecutive years in a row. Winning teams can compete every two years.)

The 4th Annual Hatchet Force Challenge is in full swing! The current dates set for the challenge are March-April 2012; we will be returning to the Calico Ghost Town area. This year will add more Challenge (pun intended) for the participating teams but of course those details will be released later.

If you would like to be considered for team entry (6-10 men), opposition force (individuals or teams), or wildcard-team entry (if you want to participate in the challenge but are not part of a team or do not have enough personnel for a complete team and do not mind being part of a team assembled from other like entries), then keep reading.

This event is invite-only and all submissions will firstly undergo a review process. You will receive additional information on how to register for the Hatchet Force Team Challenge if you are invited.
